Fraud attempts against small businesses rise every fall. These are the patterns our support team sees most often.
Overpayment scams: a client "accidentally" pays too much and asks you to send the difference back. The original payment is later reversed.
Fake e-transfer notices: always log in to your bank directly rather than clicking a link in an email.
Requests to pay or be paid outside CEADC: once money leaves the platform, we can't hold it, refund it or step in if something goes wrong.
If something feels off, report the message from the conversation menu. Our team reviews every report within one business day.
